At CJA Fine Wines, we offer a range of specialised services to help you choose, maintain and value your wines:

Investment
Fine wines have increasingly become an interesting alternative to more conventional investment vehicles, due in no small part to their
exemption from capital gains tax. Significant increases in demand for top-end wines (particularly from buyers in the Far East and Russia)
have meant year on year growth which shows no real signs on slowing down, providing the portfolio is carefully selected.
En primeur sales (wines purchased in advance of shipment) of Bordeaux in particular have demonstrated some startling increases.
As always, caveat emptor, but certainly an interesting way to afford to pay for one's everyday drinking!

Cellar Design / Valuation
From bespoke wine-rack design to advice about temperature control and other cellaring queries, we are always happy to answer any queries.
In addition we undertake cellar valuations for insurance or probate purposes, and can advise upon optimum drinking dates for your wines.

Broking
In the unlikely event of one's having too much wine, we can suggest the best way to sell, whether it be through auction or to other private clients,
and will give you a realistic idea of current market values.

Tastings
We organise a range of bespoke tasting events, for both private and corporate clients, to suit every taste and budget, from informal
